Background

Aneesh is a graduate student in the Institute of Computational and Mathematical Engineering at Stanford. He has been actively researching in the the area of computer graphics and physical simulation for the past three years. He has published his work on airbag modeling in the computer aided design journal and has also worked on tissue simulation. Aneesh holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Project Role
Aneesh joined SUMMIT in September 2004 and has been working on developing training modules using surgical simulation. He uses and develops the open source, surgical simulation software SPRING, which has dynamic simulation and distributed haptics capabilities. His current research interests are computer graphics, dynamic simulation and computational mathematics.
