Background

Chris holds a BS in Computer-Aided Engineering from South Bank University, London and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. He is a Research Assistant and a PhD student in the Mechanical Engineering Department. His current research area is remote tactile sensing for applications in telemedicine.

Project Role

Chris is working on the development of Remote Tactile Sensor, an application for the HAVnet sub-project on teledermatology. The teledermatology project involves the acquisition, transmission and subsequent display of tactile and visual images of the human skin.
