Background Juan Carlos is a Ph.D. student in the Electrical Engineering department. His background in networking includes designing and engineering Next Generation Packet Telephony Networks in the U.S. while working for Nortel Networks. Previously he designed data networks in South America and taught engineering at Catholic University in Peru. Juan Carlos holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Pontifical Catholic University in Peru. Project Role Juan Carlos was the technical lead in the set-up, monitoring and troubleshooting for demos, teaching, and learning events for HAVnet. He worked with the HAVnet Project from January, 2004 through May, 2006 and developed metrics and methods that relate to network degradation of the user's experience. |
